The heatwave continues.So off to the seaside, starting at Tetney Marshes for a walk round the reserve, egrets, little egrets and herons fishing in the pools. Then up to Cleethorpes for fish and chips in Meggs fish restaurant, always excellent food and good service; I think they are the best fish and chips place there.
Followed by another walk along the promenade. It is amazing how far out the sea goes, anyone going there for a swim has at least half a mile walk across the sand to get their feet wet. Yet a lot of people were sitting on the sands soaking up the sun. no crowds, no towels on deckchairs and no queues at airports.
