Good day out, started at Renishaw Hall and Gardens with a coffee and custard tart, then a walk around the lovely gardens, though the grass was yellow. The gardner did say they too were suffering from a lack of rain.
Then a short trip across country to Bolsover Castle, stopping at a pub for lunch of course. Followed by a drive home avoiding the motorways.
