We started off with a tour to the childhood homes of John Lennon and Sir Paul McCartney, nothing grandiose or posh just ordinary working class people living a normal life. The guides at both houses were really excellent and they loved their work and were happy to pass on any information regarding these two famous song writers. Note the houses are about the people and they are not a museum to the Beatles.
This was followed by a walk around Speke Hall, then Sudley House and ending up in China Town Liverpool.
